WE BUILD ROBOTS. WE BUILD SKILLS. WE HAVE FUN! We are the Blue Bananas Robotics Team, now entering our 7th season of FIRST! Our team began during the pandemic as a fun at-home activity and quickly grew into much more. Today, we’re a team of students in grades 9–11 who love engineering, problem-solving, competition, and having a great time together. OUR TEAM PHILOSOPHY - Build cool things. Learn constantly. Help others. Compete hard. Have FUN! Through FIRST, we’ve developed skills in: Engineering • Programming • Research • Organization • Public Speaking • Teamwork • Leadership • Problem-Solving But one of the best things we’ve built isn’t a robot. It’s friendships and confidence. STEAM BEYOND THE ROBOT 🤖 We love sharing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math with our community. The Blue Bananas participate in public STEAM events, collaborate with FIRST teams at all competition levels, mentor other teams, and host activities that give kids the opportunity to experience engineering and robotics firsthand.
