Delta Robotics

We are Delta Robotics, FTC Team 9925, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We were the first team to use the name Delta Robotics in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and we’ve been building, programming, and competing in FTC since 2015. Over the years, we’ve grown into a team known for innovation, resilience, and community outreach — all while staying true to the values of FIRST. Founded in 2015, Delta Robotics has been a recognized part of the FIRST Tech Challenge for nearly a decade. As the original Delta Robotics team, we’ve inspired others who have followed our name, but our roots go deep. From regional qualifiers to the Iowa Championship, we’ve consistently brought creative engineering solutions and strong teamwork to each season. Our mission is to empower students through hands-on STEM learning, community involvement, and excellence in engineering. Whether we’re building custom drivetrain systems, programming autonomous paths, or mentoring FLL and rookie FTC teams, we live the values of Gracious Professionalism and Coopetition. We are proud to represent Cedar Rapids and the state of Iowa in the global FTC community — and to continue carrying the legacy of Delta Robotics and the FIRST Tech Challenge.
