A sponsor wants our EIN or a tax letter. Where do I find it?

Give them the Foundation's details, EIN 39-2225353, which are at the top of Money > Documents with copy buttons. The fiscal sponsorship letter naming your team, the W-9 and the IRS determination letter are on the same page when they've been issued.
You need: View finances permission, on a team whose application has been approved
The details sponsors ask for
Your team doesn't have its own EIN under fiscal sponsorship. Gifts go to the Foundation, so a sponsor needs the Foundation's details:

- Open Money, then Documents.
- Click the copy icon next to the field you need.

The fiscal sponsorship letter is listed under Issued to team. If it shows Ask the Foundation, it hasn't been uploaded for your team yet. The Foundation's own documents are listed under The Foundation, and only the ones that exist appear there.
If a form asks for something you can't find, email contact@robotics-catalyst.org and say what it wants. Most requests are one of these documents under a different name.
Tax receipts
Don't write tax receipts yourself. The agreement makes the Foundation solely responsible for donor acknowledgments (Section 5.5). Anyone who gives through your donation or sponsor page gets an emailed receipt automatically. If a donor tells the page their employer matches gifts, their receipt email includes the details the employer's matching portal asks for.
How sponsors should pay
- Online: send them your sponsor page,
/sponsor/your-slug, or your donation page. - By check: payable to The Robotics Catalyst Foundation Inc., with your team number in the memo line. Without the memo, nobody can tell which team the check was for.
You may mention the Foundation's name, the Robolyst name and the EIN in your fundraising materials (Section 11.1). Any other use of the Foundation's name or logo needs written approval first.
