How do I turn workspaces on or off?

Open Settings and use the switches in the Features section. Turning a workspace off hides it from everyone on the team without deleting anything, and turning it back on brings everything back.
You need: Owner, or a role with Manage settings (Manager has it by default)
Switch one off
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to Features.
- Click the switch next to the workspace your team doesn't use.
The change is for the whole team. That workspace leaves the sidebar, and its pages stop opening for everyone.
What you can turn off
Members and Team settings are always on. Everything else has a switch, including:
- Announcements, Inbox, Tasks, Schedule, Checklists
- Documentation, Wiki, Resources, Outreach, 3D printing
- Practice matches (FTC teams only), Stats, Scouting
- Finance, plus its Expenses and Fiscal account parts
- AI Access, Smart tagging and Discord
The exact list depends on your program.
Workspaces that depend on others
Some switches sit indented under a parent: Member fields under Members, Expenses and Fiscal account under Finance. Discord needs Tasks on.
- Turning a parent off also hides what depends on it. The row tells you first, for example "Turning this off also hides Expenses, Fiscal account."
- A switch is greyed out with "Needs ... turned on" when its parent is off. Turn the parent on first.
Nothing is deleted
Turning a workspace off only hides it. Tasks, orders, entries and everything else stay in the database, and they come back exactly as they were when you switch it on again.
