How do I control notifications?
Last verified October 18, 2026
Open My Notifications from your profile menu. Pick which events reach you by in-app, email, daily digest, push or Discord DM, and use Do not disturb, Quiet hours and the weekly summary to control when they arrive.
Where the settings are
Click your profile picture, then My Notifications (or go to /account/notifications). Everything below is personal. Team-wide defaults are a separate page, covered at the end.
Choose channels per event
The Preferences panel lists each event with a tick box per channel:
| Channel | What it does |
|---|---|
| In-app | The bell in Robolyst and your history |
| One email per event | |
| Digest | Held for one combined email a day, sent at 8am in your team's time zone |
| Push | Phone or browser notifications on devices you've enabled |
| Discord | A DM from the Robolyst bot, if your Discord is linked and the bot can reach you |
Email and Digest are either/or for each event: picking one clears the other.
A row with no setting of yours follows your team's default and says (team default). Reset to team default puts a row back, and Reset all does the whole list.
If you're on more than one team
Pick the team at the top of Preferences. Changes apply to that team only. On any row you've changed, you can set it to All my teams.
Do not disturb
Mutes email, push and Discord DMs for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or Until I turn it off. Notifications still land in the app, so nothing is lost.
Competition day is a special mode. Match, scouting, announcement and meeting alerts keep coming, and everything else waits in the app until midnight.
Quiet hours
Set a From and To time and click Save. During those hours push and Discord DMs are held, then sent as one summary when quiet hours end. Email still arrives. Times use your team's time zone unless you click Use this timezone to use your device's.
Weekly season summary
Switch it on for one email each Monday morning: your OPR, your seeding at your last event, how long until the next one, and what's still open on you. Nothing is sent in a week with no season to report.
Test a channel
Send a test sends one real message down a channel, at most once every 30 seconds per channel.
Team defaults
People with Manage settings can set what everyone gets by default under Settings, then Notification defaults. Anyone who has set their own preference keeps it.
