How do I sign in with a passkey or magic link?

Type your email and click Email me a sign-in link, then open the link from your inbox within 5 minutes. To sign in faster next time, add a passkey from your Account page and use Sign in with a passkey.
Sign in with an email link
- Click Sign in at the top of the page, type your email, and click Email me a sign-in link.
- Open the email titled Your Robolyst sign-in link and click Sign in to Robolyst.
The link works once and expires after 5 minutes. You can ask for 3 links a minute at most.
You can open the link on a different device. The page that opens asks you to approve, showing which device asked, where from and when. Click Sign in on the device that asked, and the original tab signs you in. Keep that tab open while you wait. If you don't recognise the device, don't approve it.
An email link also works for a brand new account. There are no passwords on Robolyst.
Add a passkey
A passkey lets you sign back in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN.
- Sign in, then open your Account page.
- In the Passkeys panel, optionally name the device, then click Add passkey.
- Follow your device's prompt.
Each passkey is listed with whether it's Synced across your devices or This device only. Click Remove to delete one. If you have no passkey yet, the team portal may also show a card offering to add one.
Sign in with a passkey
On the sign-in badge, under Returning with a passkey, click Sign in with a passkey. Passkeys only sign you back in. They can't create an account, so you need to sign in another way first.
If you see "No passkey found for this site", that device doesn't have one for Robolyst yet. Use an email link, then add a passkey from Account.

Continue with GitHub and Continue with Google also work, and some setups show Continue with Apple.
Signing out other devices
The Active sessions panel on your Account page lists where you're signed in and lets you sign devices out.
